After Fuel Rod lost a class action law suit concerning lifetime use of their product they had to change their new policy. Now if you purchased a Fuel Rod before 10/26/19 you will have to fill out a a founders questionnaire to continue to receive free charges, here is the link. Once they have verified the account, you will have to download the app and create an account using the same email address from the questionnaire.
You will then receive a QR code that will work on the kiosks when you are ready to swap out a fuel rod.

I was thinking about getting one but this new rule has changed my mind. I would rather spend the money to buy a couple good ones to charge every night.
I bought one within two weeks of them being sold at Disneyland. I can’t remember if I was sent an email or even what month that was. The card I used must have been an older one because I got new CC last year. And I bought a second fuel rod about 6 months later. So trying to research what I card I used and when exactly I bought them is frustrating to me 😔
Seems like a lot of work. I don’t have have one before that.

They had to of known they messed up advertising lifetime use. That’s a loss of income for the company. Good thing someone noticed and made them responsible for what they promised.

Darn it, I lost my old one! I really hope I find it, kinda defeats the purpose if you have to pay for swaps. At th at point may as well buy one on amazon and carry that around

While I don’t use this brand, having cell phone batteries like this with me in the parks or traveling in general have been lifesavers. Start taking too many pictures or videos and you run the battery down quickly.

Thankfully I just bring my own battery bank. Its great for 2 full charges if not more.
I think they are overpriced at the parks. Much cheaper on Amazon.

I never used these. I have my own chargers that hold 4 or 5 full charges each and I don’t have to go to any redemption spot to get a new one. It’s great and charges overnight. It makes for a less stressful day.
